Excited I go back to start up minecraft and a big fat nothing! For the life of me I cannot figure out why Minecraft is not picking up on the controller!!! After reboot, I started up ControllerMate, checked to make sure my screen had all the same things as your screenshots had then started up Minecraft. Restarted my computer bc installer suggested I do that. OrderedBytes, the publisher of ControllerMate, is apparently a one-man operation. The issue is that Apple is putting further restrictions on Mac OS security, and ControllerMate’s approach to functional (kernel extensions) are severely restricted if they even work at all. I downloaded and installed ControllerMate with no issue and was able to register it just fine as well. The issue wasn’t 64-bit compatibility ControllerMate is fully 64-bit. I use ControllerMate a lot to alter behavior of my mouse, keys on my Microsoft Ergo keyboard, various additional numpads. This works well with my controller and I've checked multiple times to make sure it is reading my xbox one wired controller. Except prior to this I had to install the driver for the xbox controller. I'm not sure if you even check this anymore, but I figured I'd give it a go since I literally cannot find anything useful for the whole controller/minecraft/mac issue.
